Advanced Proposal Writing, Session 2

October 9, 2018 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm

Tuesday, October 09, 2018 9:30 AM–3:30 PM  Main (Oakland)

Developing an Effective Program/Project Design
Learn how to: (1) research evidence-based program models and present how your program will work; (2) utilize a Logic Model and Gantt Chart to present the program/project goals, SMART objectives, activities, staffing and timeline; and (3) describe a practical evaluation plan with measurable outcomes.

The Advanced Proposal Writing Series is designed for those who have a basic understanding of grants and want to develop more expertise in writing proposals to foundations.  Each of the three sessions features in-depth PowerPoint instruction and exercises to assist attendees in developing a complete Common Grant Application, and also prepare briefer sections and attachments to fit online applications requiring limited characters.  Individuals will be able to develop or revise their own non-deadline grant application with small group feedback and instructor coaching.  Participants must attend sessions for which they are registered in order to receive the electronic tools.
