Join us on Friday, September 18th from 8:30am-2:30pm at The Carnegie Science Center for the APOST Fall Conference for OST, a FREE professional development conference.

The Fall Conference for Out-of-School Time is a conference that shares best practices in youth development. It is open to youth practitioners who want to increase their skills in working with youth in out-of-school time programs, mentoring relationships, or in summer camps.

The focus of the conference this fall is Youth Voice and Engagement. Our keynote speaker, Adora Svitak, began as a prolific short story writer and blogger at age seven and is now (at age 17) a published author of three books, an internationally acclaimed speaker, and an advocate for causes that include literacy, youth empowerment, and feminism. Click here to watch her TED talk from 2010, “What Adults Can Learn From Kids.” Click here to visit Adora’s website.
