Daina Ramey Berry, PhD: A Black Women’s History of the United States

The Cathedral of Learning is located in the Oakland area of Pittsburgh between the streets of Bigelow Boulevard (currently closed to traffic), Bellefield Avenue (one way heading South), Forbes Avenue (one way heading East) and Fifth Avenue (one way heading West).

Parking is available at $3 per hour on many streets adjacent (Five minute walk or less) to the Cathedral. (We recommend the Go Mobile Pgh app to pay for parking). Parking (approx. $1 per hour) may also be available in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Parking Lot accessed via Bigelow Blvd.

“A Black Women’s History of the United States” – Dr Berry’s book of the same title will be available for purchase.

Lunch is provided, seating is limited. A livestream will be available from this website during the lecture, and video of the lecture and slides will be posted subsequently.
