Please join us for our quarterly meeting to connect with afterschool providers and join the conversation about the future of out-of-school time in the Northside.
About the One Northside Afterschool Collaboration:
The Buhl Foundation made a 20 year commitment to the Northside to focus on education, employment and place and has branded the initiative as the One Northside. The One Northside Afterschool Collaboration is a joint effort of Northside youth service providers and community partners focused on supporting at-risk youth, 6th-12th grade, by preparing them for employment through afterschool and out-of-school programs. The goals of the collaboration include:
- Supporting & improving existing after-school programs
- Increasing participation in out-of-school programs by at-risk youth
- Increasing Northside employers providing placements and part-time jobs for teens
- Supporting & improving existing job-readiness programs
