oSTEM: Free Hour of Code Youth Workshop

WHAT
STEM professionals and college students attending the oSTEM conference will lead a special free Hour of Code activity for local Pittsburgh youth in grades 8-12. Kids who attend will learn about the field of computer science and participate in a guided activity around computer programming. The workshop will be followed by a free pizza lunch.

We ask schools or organizations to bring chaperones (approx. 1 chaperone per 10 students).
Students will need a signed permission slip (attached).

Schools/organizations must RSVP to nathaniel@tealsk12.org in advance of the event. There are 75 seats available which will be distributed on a first-come first-served basis.
