PSAYDN Annual Partners’ Retreat 2016

PSAYDN’s 2016 Annual Partners’ Retreat includes dynamic networking sessions sharing current work and accomplishments on afterschool and out-of-school time (OST) initiatives. This retreat provides an opportunity for staff, advocates, educators, policymakers and partners to hear OST education and youth development experts presenting best practices on PSAYDN’s core areas of policy, quality and sustainability. It also features effective program models, networking opportunities and workshops.

The theme of the retreat will focus on creating and maintaining afterschool and business-community partnerships through PSAYDN’s core goals of creating a sustainable structure of statewide, regional and local partnerships, policy development and coordination of quality initiatives.

Participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging arrangements. A limited block of rooms has been reserved at the Holiday Inn Harrisburg-Hershey at a discounted rate of $83 single/double occupancy per night plus tax until Monday, October 10, 2016 or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first. Continuing Education Credits

Act 48
The Center for Schools and Communities, as a division of the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit, offers Act 48 professional development credit for those with Pennsylvania teaching or administrative certificates. Participants MUST attend the session(s) from beginning to end and list their Professional Personnel ID # on the appropriate Act 48 paperwork supplied to you by the Center for Schools and Communities to receive credit. If you are unsure of your Professional Personnel ID #, click here.

PQAS Credits
The Center for Schools and Communities, as a division of the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit, offers PQAS credits for qualified participants. Participants MUST attend the session(s) from beginning to end and list their Professional Personnel ID # on the appropriate PQAS paperwork supplied to you by the Center for Schools and Communities to receive credit.
