Tari will share her experiences and the process of developing an independent outdoor education course as well as how to include outdoor adventure programming in your existing curriculum. Her focus will be on programming for secondary physical education but the information and resources shared are appropriate for upper elementary through University programs.

Attendees will:

• Explore a variety of outdoor activities to teach
• Discover how to use their current facilities and equipment to teach new activities
• Learn about resources available to everyone at no cost
• Be able to determine what units/activities would be appropriate in their own educational setting
