Teen Bloc Youth Organizing Academy

Help recruit students for a week-long program to learn about their rights and influence within the educational system.
Educators and community leaders are invited to share the TeenBloc Youth Organizing Academy with students entering 8th-12th grade. Students will join A+ Schools on August 5 – 9 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm for a week-long program filled with learning and leading.

The TeenBloc Youth Organizing Academy helps build the leadership skills and advocacy abilities of students all while making connections with other teens from around the city. Students will learn about their rights and influence within the educational system, pushing towards making positive changes in their school community. A light breakfast and lunch are provided every day, and a Connect Card is available for those who need help with transportation.
