10:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Join us for this special presentation on how to use census data to strengthen your nonprofit’s grant proposals. Attendees will learn:

• About the statistical tools available through the American Community Survey using American Fact Finder and other data resources.
• How to access the most appropriate demographic data in order to make an irrefutable case for support.
• Where best to fit the data into your proposals.

This hands-on training is perfect for both beginning and advanced grant writers. You can choose either the morning or afternoon session:

* 10:30 am – 12:30 pm
* 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm

Our speaker will be Noemi Mendez Eliasen, the Data Dissemination Specialist from the Philadelphia Regional Office of the U.S. Census Bureau, which now covers 8 states and the District of Columbia.

There is no fee to attend this program. However, our space is limited and registration is required by calling the Nonprofit Resource Center at (412) 622-6277.
