Youth mentoring programs are dedicated to serving youth and ensuring that young people have the tools and supports necessary to succeed, realize, and achieve their goals. But how do mentoring programs ensure that young people’s voices are accounted for when creating materials and programming that directly impact and affect them? The young people we serve bring a wealth of knowledge, skills, and assets to the table that can greatly inform and enhance the quality of our work. This month’s webinar will be discussing the importance of youth voice in mentoring, and ways mentoring programs can center youth voices and engage young people in their programs so that they feel included and represented.
