Program Description
Are you in 1st – 8th grade? Want to create a tweeting plant? Build a Battlebot? Test a rocket? Students will complete hands-on STEAM projects exposing them to multiple exciting mediums. Assemble Afterschool is an exploratory afterschool program that introduces students to local artists and makers in their community. Students will be encouraged to create and teach one another through the making process. Mondays: 5th – 8th grade – Girls Maker Night (Girls only) Tuesdays: 6th-8th grade (ages 11-14) Wednesday: 3rd-5th grade (ages 8-10) Thursday: 1st-2nd grade (ages 6-7)
