The delegation from Allegheny County was the largest and met with over 8 legislators or their staff. Rep. Gainey recognized and welcomed the Wilkinsburg students on the House floor during session, Rep. Wheatley, already an afterschool advocate, continues to support afterschool and has already supported House Resolution 589. Just yesterday we learned that Rep. Ravenstahl has signed on to the House Resolution 589 to establish an advisory committee to survey youth development programs across the state.
