A Critical Response to the Causes and Consequences of 21st Century Segregation

Join us Friday September 28th at noon in 2001 Cathedral of Learning for a Critical Response to The Causes and Consequences of 21st Century Segregation. We will have a short presentation regarding how Critical Race approaches to segregation challenge mainstream understandings of recent trends in segregation, its causes, and consequences. We will then have an open discussion regarding how we write, teach, and have public discussions that respectively engage with mainstream race literature while acknowledging its shortcomings.
