Advanced Proposal Writing, Session 3

October 16, 2018 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm

 – Main (Oakland)

Building a Project Budget & Sustainability Plan
Learn how to: (1) develop a funding strategy and sustainability plan involving multiple funders; (2) identify in-kind community and long-term resources; (3) use the Common Grant Budget Form to construct the proposal budget and justification for program activities; (4) review required attachments; and (5) understand the post-award responsibilities of grant management and reporting.

The Advanced Proposal Writing Series is designed for those who have a basic understanding of grants and want to develop more expertise in writing proposals to foundations.  Each of the three sessions features in-depth PowerPoint instruction and exercises to assist attendees in developing a complete Common Grant Application, and also prepare briefer sections and attachments to fit online applications requiring limited characters.  Individuals will be able to develop or revise their own non-deadline grant application with small group feedback and instructor coaching.  Participants must attend sessions for which they are registered in order to receive the electronic tools.
