APOST Fall Conference

Save the Date for the APOST Fall Conference! The APOST Fall Conference for Out-of-School Time (OST) is a professional development conference that shares best practices in youth development. The conference is open to youth practitioners who want to increase their skills in working with youth in out-of-school time programs or mentoring relationships. We have an exciting day planned filled with great topics, wonderful presenters, networking opportunities, and more! Get ready for fall programming with Allegheny Partners for Out-of-School Time!

This fall, we’re proud to present Julius Boatwright as the Keynote Speaker, and a growing partner of APOST. Julius is the Founder and CEO of Steel Smiling, an organization that works to bridge the gap between the black community and mental health supports through education, advocacy, and awareness. Julius has received awards from the NAACP, Black Enterprise, and BMe, and has had his work featured on media outlets such as the Huffington Post, NPR, and TEDxPittsburgh. With his expertise in community trauma, Julius will set the tone for the day by discussing how we all can play a part in working to heal our communities.
