Introduction to Nonprofit Resource Center Databases

January 22, 2020 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

Wednesday, January 22, 2020 10:30 AM–12:30 PM

Join us for this introduction to the four databases provided at the Nonprofit Resource Center, including:

  • GuideStar Pro – Our upgraded subscription now provides a more comprehensive tool to easily find, research, and analyze millions of nonprofits.
  • Foundation Directory Online – Our premier database for nonprofits seeking grants includes over 140,000 grantmaker profiles and more.
  • Foundation Grants to Individuals – Profiles on grantmakers awarding scholarships, fellowships and other opportunities to individuals.
  • Foundation Maps – This tool brings philanthropic data to life, making it easy to understand who is funding what and where around the world.

We will discuss the features of each database, provide some basic instruction, and then allow time for attendees to use the foundation-related tools.  Since GuideStar Pro is a single-user only database, instruction will be given but access will have to be arranged by individual appointment.

Space is limited and registration is required by emailing foundation@carnegielibrary.org.
