Mentoring for Violence Prevention
April 21st, 9-11am
One Hope Square, Third Floor Conference Room
1901 Centre Avenue
Youth engage in violent behavior when they don’t have the opportunity to learn other ways of dealing with conflict. When youth participate in developing leadership skills that help them stop the violence before it starts, relationships transform and youth culture changes.

Elio Wade of Family Services of Western Pennsylvania, will be leading us by helping us understand the issue, look at the theory behind their intervention and give us the opportunity to use the Mentoring for Violence Prevention material that helps youth shift their focus from reaction to revelation. As always, we’ll have a bountiful breakfast and stimulating conversation.
