Join AIU’s transformED and Remake Learning for this workshop designed to help schools navigate the PASmart Targeted Grant application.
Join AIU’s transformED, Remake Learning, and the AIU Grants and Evaluation team for a full-day grant writing workshop. Designed specifically for the PASmart Targeted Grant RFP, this workshop will provide participants with an overview of the grant application, a chance to connect with other schools working through the process, and time to work on completing the application, guided by AIU grant writing and computer science PD staff.
PAsmart Targeted PreK-12 CS & STEM Education grants (“Targeted Grants”) are structured to meet the needs of LEAs and their schools with few to no CS/STEM offerings. Any local education agency (school district, career and technology center, charter school, cyber charter school, intermediate unit) that did not receive a PAsmart Targeted Grant in fiscal year 2018-2019 in Pennsylvania is eligible to apply for a 2019-20 PAsmart Targeted Grant.
Each eligible LEA may receive a maximum Targeted Grant award of $35,000. Grant applications are due December 20, 2019. Additional grant details can be found here.
Districts are encouraged to send a team, with a goal of participants leaving the workshop with a nearly-completed proposal.
