Tips and Tools for Supporting Healthy Matches
What does a healthy match look like? What are some common issues that arise between mentors and mentees, and mentors and parents? What are the steps staff can take to both prevent and address these? Facilitated by Dr. Dustianne North and Jerry Sherk, M.A. of the California Mentoring Partnership, this webinar focuses on strategies that will help programs to improve their methods of providing match support. This training will feature a number of concrete tools programs can implement with ease. Dr. Naida Silverthorn will also outline key measures of match success and support identified in the upcoming monitoring portion of the OJJDP National Mentoring Resource Center’s Measurement Guidance Toolkit, which can guide both practice and program evaluation.
