Presented by Russell Skiba, PhD
In the last year, even as we have been confronted by tragic inequalities in communities from Ferguson, Mo., to Madison, Wis., a series of national reports has highlighted continuing inequities in school discipline. This presentation will use the recent work of the Discipline Disparities Research-to-Practice Collaborative to outline the current status of research and the need to abandon “race-neutral” policies in order to actively identify and challenge inequity in school discipline.

This event is free and open to the public. There will be a reception immediately following the presentation.
