February 27, 2018 By Apost Admin

Looking for opportunities to  enhance your afterschool program curriculum? Luckily, there are a lot of great resources online that are free and easy to use. Depending on what you have available on site, the following five websites can point you to good PreK-12th grade content.

Beyond the Chalkboard  – This resource, created by the Boston Children’s Museum, provides an extremely easy to use bank of activities covering a wide range of topics.

Afterschool Alliance –  This is a list of STEM focused resources cultivated by the Afterschool Alliance.

Common Sense Media – This organization is committed to providing parents and educators with guidance on finding and utilizing high quality EdTech apps and tools for talking with youth about safe and appropriate use of technology.

PBS Education – PBS provides curriculum, activities, and additional resources related to a variety of PBS program content for all ages.

TED Ed Lessons – A spin on the popular TED series that allows users to create free and useable lessons around TED content or create their own video based lessons.
