The APOST Summer Conference for Out-of-School Time (OST) is a professional development conference that shares best practices in youth development. This conference is open to youth practitioners and managers of direct service staff who want to increase their skills in working with youth in out-of-school time programming, mentoring relationships, or in summer camps. #PGHSummer18
We will be gathering at the beautiful A.J. Palumbo Hall of Science & Technology on Carlow’s campus again this summer on Friday June 15th from 8AM-3PM for a day filled with fantastic presentations and professional development workshops.
This year, we’re excited to present Tammy Thompson as the Keynote Speaker. Tammy is a recognized community activist and expert in the field of understanding and addressing generational poverty. Through Tammy’s personal narrative and experience, she’ll provide a nuanced perspective on the reality of the poverty facing our communities and how to best connect with and support the families of the children in our programs.
