Program Description
The CARES afterschool program is offered four days a week for four hours each day. The daily schedule of programming reflects the needs of elementary, middle, and high school youth and focuses on homework assistance, learning activities that boost core academic skills such as reading, math, and science; recreational activities that stress physical health, peer interactions and teamwork. A daily snack and dinner address nutritional needs, provides one-on-one time with staff and augment community fellowship.
