Program Description
In partnership with Comcast and other digital technology partners, the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh is one of many organizations to be nationally selected to host this educational digital technology after school program. Utilizing a combination of best practices and nationally modeled curriculum, Digital Connectors program activities include: technology training, project based learning experiences, leadership development, workshops or presentations facilitated by industry professionals, service activities, visits to STEM related colleges and industries, college prep and career planning sessions, visits to exhibits and access to online resources. Participants are able to demonstrate their newly acquire skills by helping to improve digital literacy in their own communities and homes, can earn a Cisco IT Essentials and EverFi Certifications and are rewarded with exciting incentives upon graduation/program completion.
