Program Description

Offers programs for children from 18 months to 6 years and young adult activities for teens. The young adult room is stocked with board games and puzzles that children may enjoy on their own. Various programs and activities take place monthly. Activities include: National Poetry Month and Children’s Book Week; teen activities at the library take the form of monthly activities. In September a Back-To-School pizza party is planned for teens ages 11-17 who have a library card or sign up for a library card during the month. A drawing for a book bag is offered during this month also. October activities are centered around Halloween and fall themes. There are various activities taking place with prize drawings through out the month. Parental involvement is encouraged. Hours: 10:00 am-8:00pm Monday and Wednesday; 10:00am-7:00pm, Tuesday and Thursday; 9:30am-4:30 pm Friday and Saturday.
