EVO—After School Program

Program Description

EVO’s After-School Program is offered throughout the school year at our activity center. It is a 3-hour daily commitment, Monday through Friday, with a focus on healthy eating, exercise, tennis instruction, and academics while specifically offering support in math, reading, writing and computer skills. There are 15 working stations within the computer lab. Children typically receive instruction on a 1:3 ratio throughout the afternoons while building strong mentoring relationships. Curriculum structure includes: Reading library (reading out-loud to tutor on a regular basis), computer lab availbale with internet access and educational software (iknowthat.com), play to learn grames and activities, pre and post-assessment tests, manipulative kinesthetic learning tools, and everyday math curricula.
