Program Description
The Hazelwood YMCA is an urban branch of the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh. Originally established as an outreach site in 1971, the branch continues its longstanding commitment to direct community action by offering program for families, children and individuals. Serving the communities of Hazelwood, Greenfield, West Mifflin, Homestead and surrounding areas, the Hazelwood YMCA is committed to providing quality social services for community members. Our branch offers food assistance, energy assistance, academic intervention programs, summer camps, senior services, character education programs, school-based services and many other programs serving the greater Hazelwood community. Additionally, the Hazelwood YMCA maintains a longstanding tradition of providing state-licensed childcare through our after school and summer camp programs.
