Program Description
HIRE Me is an after-school program that serves high school youth with career readiness and workforce development training. The program helps to prepare youth for the world of work through five core components; Jump Start Success, our career exploration and job readiness curriculum; career exploration, which includes job tours, Cool Hot Jobs speaker workshops, and job shadowing; career mentorship, service learning, and certification attainment. Additionally, youth will participate in supplemental workshops that include post-secondary education and life skills topics. The program meets at YouthWorks on Wednesdays and The Pittsburgh Project, at 2801 N. Charles Street, Pittsburgh 15214, on Thursdays.
