Program Description
National program for leadership and team building with concentration on drug-free lifestyle for kids ages 8-18 (or completion of school). Physical fitness: military-style training with a boot camp course where youths earn a uniform, ribbons and rank as they progress in the program. There is also a concentration also on giving back with community service hours (parades, color guards, veterans’ appreciation activities). Requires a high commitment level to achieve progress. Our local unit meets at Keystone Oaks Middle School on Thursday evenings for drills and there are also occasional weekend outdoor activities.
