Middle Warriors at Pittsburgh Westinghouse

Return to our Program Finder

Program Description

The Middle Warrior program is a hybrid between the elementary afterschool model and the Warrior program. NLA partners with Mt. Ararat Community Activity Center to provide programming at Pittsburgh Westinghouse. The middle school students are supported with their academic studies for 90 minutes per day and spend the remaining 90 minutes reading, mentoring and tutoring our elementary students at their school’s afterschool program. This program operates directly in the school building directly following the school day.
