NLA Warriors Program

Program Description

The Warriors Program is designed to build interest in reading and STEM and to significantly increase the reading proficiency of elementary students who are behind a grade level. Supervised by certified teachers, high-school students form one-on-one reading partner relationships by mentoring elementary students through two hours of reading, literacy and STEM activities each day. All activities are designed to build elementary students’ passion as well as fluency and comprehension skills.
