Watson Institute, The

Program Description

The Watson Institute offers special education programs including extended school year and preschool; respite services for preschool and school-age children with developmental disabilities including autism/PDD and neurological impairments; integrated summer camp and preschool programs, diagnosis, evaluations, wrap-around services, medication management and outpatient therapy to children with autism/PDD. Watson also offers community-based instruction programs to school districts and training and consultation for teachers, therapists and other children’s service providers. In addition, The Watson Institute hosts several support groups for both parents and siblings and children with autism.
