Join Shayna Willis to learn which learning style you fit into and to see how best to engage students with learning styles that differ from yours. Participants in each session will learn practical ways to incorporate educational strategies that engage each type of learner in after school programs.
Trainer: Shayna Willis, M.A.Ed. has been a highly qualified teacher for over 10 years and a mom for over five. Currently, she serves OST staff as a trainer with Neighborhood Learning Alliance, while keeping her teaching skills sharp by working with students as an adjunct mathematics professor at CCAC. Her trainings combine real-world experience with academic knowledge to help afterschool staff better understand the educational system, their students, and how to implement practical solutions to common problems.
