Restorative Practices Discussion Panel

Join A+ Schools and the Pittsburgh Black Elected Officials Coalition for a discussion on the use and effectiveness of Restorative Practices as an alternative to exclusionary discipline approaches. The Restorative Practices Discussion Panel will create a space for conversation surrounding the benefits and challenges of implementing Whole School Change in a given school district. Data will be presented for context and implication of why Restorative Practices is a viable alternative to exclusionary discipline. Light refreshments will be provided. Doors open at 5:30 PM and the program will begin at 6:00 PM.

Childcare for children 4+ will be provided made possible by “The People’s Office” served by Representative Jake Wheatley.
