Becky Boll
Executive Assistant
Becky Boll has had the privilege of spending much of her career working in community development organizations to support families and uplift communities.
She began this work as a volunteer in college and continued after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Movement Science from the University of Pittsburgh. She coordinated youth sports programs at Urban Impact, connected high school students to job training opportunities at YouthWorks, administered SNAP benefits application assistance at Just Harvest, and provided administrative support at The Pittsburgh Project.
Becky also spent time in recent years working in the political arena. Returning to the University of Pittsburgh to pursue a Masters of Social Work degree was a significant factor in her decision to focus more on macro level issues and systemic inequality. During her time as a political organizer she proudly supported the work of the Children’s Fund ballot initiative, Black Women for a Better Education, and several candidates running for office ranging from Pittsburgh school board to US congress.
She is excited to be stepping back into the non-profit sector to support the work that APOST is doing to promote high quality OST programs in Allegheny County.
