Illiteracy Prevention Program
Need help for your child in basic reading skills? CLA provides training to parents who wish to tutor their own children. CLA also works with churches in neighborhoods around Allegheny County to provide training and tools to set up afterschool and summer reading programs.

Community-Based Mentoring
In partnership with Family Guidance, Inc., Aliquippa Impact offers a one-to-one mentoring program for youth ages 6-15. Youth are paired with screened, safe adults for a minimum of one year for 2-4 hours a week. All one-to-one mentoring relationships are carefully supervised by Aliquippa Impact and Family Guidance.
AIU—Lincoln Park Family Support Center
Program offers family support, home visits, case management, medical and social services, and drop-in activities. Program is run by the Allegheny County Human Services Department, Family and Community Services.
